Description of Practice: A National Guild of Hypnotists Certified Hypnotherapist since 1998, Anne Shuman Urban is co-founder of Delaware Hypnosis Partners, LLC, Wilmington, DE with Beth J. Keil.. From February 2002 through May 2003, she worked as a staff hypnotherapist at Banyan Hypnosis Center under the supervision of Calvin Banyan, creator of the 5-PATH® system of hypnotherapy and 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® . In 2005, she completed her training as a Certified Professional Hypnotherapy Instructor and conducts hypnotherapy certification trainings in Delaware and throughout the Eastern US.

Ms. Urban has conducted thousands of hypnosis sessions using 5-PATH hypnotherapy and 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® and now brings her expertise to hypnotherapy training programs as well as assisting individual and groups in achieving their goals. As her reputation as a premier hypnotherapist and trainer has grown, she has been sought out as a speaker at for conferences, businesses and organizations. Each year, more and more individuals travel from all over the US to come to her office for hypnotherapy.

In addition to private sessions, Ms. Urban teaches 7th Path Self-Hypnosis®, works with women who want to have a more comfortable natural childbirth using hypnosis (HypnoBirthing®-Mongan Method ), and facilitates coaching seminars, as well as creating custom hypnosis seminars for groups and organizations.

For those interested in pursuing a fulfilling career in hypnotherapy, she is proud to offer a National Guild of Hypnotists approved 10-day intensive hypnotherapy certification training which includes Calvin Banyan's powerful 5-PATH®hypnotherapy model and 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® teacher training. For hypnotherapists, she teaches 7-day Advanced Hypnotherapy version of this training, and provides professional mentoring and coaching services to 5-PATH® trained hypnotherapists .

Ms. Urban uses hypnosis and hypnotherapy to help individuals with a broad range of issues including those listed above as well as:

• HypnoBirthing®(hypnosis for natural childbirth)

• 7th Path Self-Hypnosis®: individual or group sessions

• 5-PATH® Hypnotherapy for habits and personal issues

Ms. Urban holds a Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies. She brings years of experience of working with individuals who want to improve their performance, break unwanted habits, and create satisfying and fulfilling lives to her work at Delaware Hypnosis Partners.

Ms. Urban became a Certified Hypnotherapist through NGH because of her personal experience and her desire to help others reach greater satisfaction and success in their lives. She then became a 5-PATH® and 7th Path™ Hypnotherapist through her advanced training at Banyan Hypnosis Center For Training & Services, Inc., and joined their staff in 2002, and now brings that expertise to the Mid-Atlantic region.
