Cynthia Thurman is a Consulting Hypnotist and member in good standing with the National Guild of Hypnotists, which is the largest and oldest professional hypnotist organization of its kind in the world. She is certified in Five Phase Advanced Transformational Hypnosis (5-PATH®) and a certified teacher of 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® with the world famous Banyan Hypnosis Center for Training and Services in Orange County, California. She is also a Certified HypnoCoach,™ a Basic Practitioner of NLP, and uses a variety of other advanced techniques.

She started her professional career as a social worker in social services, and observed the many difficulties that women encountered in trying to get back on their feet and to have hope in desperate situations. She became determined to seek solutions to help improve confidence and create a positive outlook, understanding the power of the mind in effecting change. Ultimately she discovered that hypnosis is a powerful tool for making dynamic life changes.

She first experienced the personal benefits of hypnosis while working in executive sales, and was amazed at how effective it was in increasing motivation and goal achievement. She then went on to study the Silva Method of self-hypnosis and later, Emotional Freedom Technique.
